Formatting & Proofreading Package

This will include preparation of a Thesis template which has the structure and layout as required by your university; Formatting of entire thesis according to university guidelines:

  • format headings and sub-headings according to required format

  • include header and footer information, e.g., page numbering

  • format text in paragraphs and bulleted/numbered lists consistently

  • format tables and figures

Proofreading of entire thesis:

  • check for grammar, spelling and punctuation

  • consistent use of terminology and abbreviations

  • check for readability, logical break-ups into paragraphs and sentences

Coaching Services During the Writing Phase

​

Review of your draft thesis with focus on structure and content:

  • review general flow of thesis

  • make sure chapters are following a logical sequence

  • review content in individual chapters, point out areas where content seems missing (attention: we are not the subject matter experts, so will not be able to point out missing content from your research area; we will rather point out where content does not seem to be logically presented)

Scientific References Check

 

Review of correct use of scientific references

  • make sure correct style is used for existing references (e.g., Vancouver)

  • check that in-text citations display correctly

  • check that end-of-thesis references list displays correctly

  • point to missing references in thesis, i.e. make sure all statements are backed up by references

EndNotes library set-up

 

Establish an EndNotes references library & include all references into your thesis:

  • create an EndNotes library (".enl file") with EndNotes software, which includes entries for all references you cite in your thesis

  • set up EndNotes to display the references in the style of your choice
    (NLM or JAMA or any other style that you need)
